A Welcome Message From Bill Nelson

Dear Friend,

You have found your way to Dreamsville, a place devoted to music, art and creativity. It has been built as a safe haven and a source of information for all those who have an interest in my life and work and its related subjects.

Dreamsville will grow slowly but surely over the coming months and years... it is an ongoing project which will provide you with all the information and inspiration you might need to further enjoy and understand my work. Every aspect of the site receives my personal attention and you can be assured that its contents will reflect the quality and care you might expect.

There is a Forum in the 'Pleasure Park' for you to use for discussion purposes. It appears in the form of a warm, friendly pub, 'The Dreamsville Inn'. I hope you will use this facility often, treating it as your 'local', a place where you can relax amongst friends.

Dreamsville also has its own on-line newspaper, 'The Dreamsville Rocket', based in the Newspaper Office. This will keep you up to date with all the latest developments, albums, live performances, website expansion, and so on.

My personal diary entries can be found in the study room of 'Villa Nelsonica'. My older diary entries are archived here too.

The 'Pleasure Park' also contains things such as 'The Guitar Arcade,' a must visit attraction for those of you with an interest in the instrument. Also in the Park will be areas connected with live performance and ticket information.

The 'Academy of Art ' contains examples of my visual work, drawings, paintings, photography and collage.

The 'Music Salon' is the place to visit for information about my musical work. It provides an overview of my musical career, useful to both long-time fans and newcomers.

A very special and personal feature of Dreamsville is 'Museum of Memory'. In this building I have gathered together photographs and memorabilia from my private life and my childhood. Many of these have never been seen publicly before. This private archive serves as a kind of visual autobiography to which I have added explanatory text. It will show the kind of family environment I grew up in and its influence on my creative life.

The 'Town Hall' acts as a central information point and also as the residence of Dreamsville's Mayor, my good friend Jon Wallinger. Jon will be your point of contact for all things Dreamsville and Nelsonic.

The 'Dream Department Store' is the place to visit to purchase albums and related items of merchandise. My custom imprint record label, 'Sonoluxe Records', will be producing new releases on a fairly regular basis and the 'Dream Department Store' will be the first to stock them.

There are several other buildings devoted to other subjects. These will be filled as time allows. In fact there are many things planned for Dreamsville that will come to fruition over time so please visit often and watch the town grow and develop... your own presence will help to make Dreamsville a special and magical place.

Stay Young!
