I seem to have accumulated several Bill Frisell albums. I like the rural ‘American’ feel of them and his beautiful tone.

"Began to make up an audio tape to play in the car (I have dozens of eclectic cassettes to while away the driving hours). This one has works by Joaquin Rodrigo (his ‘Fantasia Para Un Gentilhombre’), Perry Grainger (the third part of the ‘In a Nutshell’ suite and ‘Train Music’) plus some music from the recently released Raymond Scott album, ‘Manhattan Research’. I will probably pad it out with some ‘Esquivel’, ‘Ken Nordine’, ‘Hank Penny’ and a little ‘Chet Atkins’... I’m nothing if not perverse.
