Hold on. Doesn't Mr. Spence have the original wax cylinders?

I am not sure how many copies came to North America. I was a member and have an issue somewhere in my collection, but never got an ep. It would be wonderful to time travel to an age of ancient machines and a simpler technology. And Youth.

Super cool! The holy grail of the Bill music that has never been released on CD. In my opinion anyway.

John

That is the most exciting news I have heard all day! I would love to purchase this compilation!

I think I have all the Fan Club EPs.
Some fantastic tunes on there and oh, those early rythmn machines sound great.
Best tracks for me would be "Carnival" and "Spring".
I know Peter Cook has always dug "King of the cowboys".

I would love Bill to do another paper fan club magazine with some sounds with it (Possibly some download codes payable ?)
Everything is so digital nowadays, I guess it would be a nice touch price dictating of course...

And, yes, John, (Spence,) we did do a track at Fairview with Tony Mitchell and his then girlfriend, (who was, if I recall correctly, an 'adult film' actress.) The track was titled, I think, 'Torture Garden' or something similar. Tony was a journalist on the 'Sounds' pop and rock paper who later became the editor of the 'Skin Two' fetish fashion magazine. I produced the track and John engineered it.

Hi Bill

I don't know if you're aware but it may amuse you to know that there is an infamous club night with a fetish theme called Torture Garden after your song, I believe the aforementioned Tony Mitchell is involved somehow.

Don't be tempted to access the Torture Garden website directly it seems to have been hacked!

Cheers, TC
