Want to alert you to another new journal entry dated 11th March. A reflective piece with two images attached. Check it out at the appropriate place on my website...

One worrying development is a newly occurring pain in my left hand, more specifically in the middle finger and knuckles of the left hand. This discomfort is making it somewhat difficult to play the guitar. My agility is definitely impaired and I'm concerned that it might not be something that I can override.
I already called an ambulance and the national guard. This is serious!

Please let us know what the doc says.

Regarding your left hand Bill, you probably should get it checked out, but I would hazard a guess it's nothing too serious..but, obviously, I don't know. However, I do know what a bashing your fretting hand takes (no matter how lightly one frets), day in, day out, week after week, etc. on your dedicated quest. It's most likely some form of repetitive strain injury, or some localised inflammation that's built up in the joints from all the playing you do/have done and will require resting for a while, while things 'cool down' and get back to normal..mild carpal tunnel syndrome would be my guess, I suffer with it, on and off, in my left wrist and hand and when it flares up (not too often thankfully) I pull back from playing guitar for a while...Like I say, I don't know, it's just my guess that would fit your circumstances...hope it's nothing too serious, or long term.

Take care,

Nick.

According to my 84 year old 'seer' Mother it's Yorkshire weather related with all the rain and moisture it's a price to pay
for living in such a beautiful landscape albeit, unprecedented of late...

I Must confirm my bones and muscles were 'acting up', on the very same day something i have never ever experienced before ever!!??

only today there is no trace of yesterday my body is feeling better, hoping yours is too, Bill

Please let us swap notes

Bill has your physical concern evaporated?
