Hello All,

I've just discovered that BBC Radio 3 will be paying tribute to Mick Karn in a broadcast at 11.15 PM (GMT) on Wednesday (2 March). Not sure if this is accessible through the Radio 3 web page for those of you overseas.

Cheers,

Douglas

Difficult to believe he's been gone a year.

Can't believe it's a year since Mick passed away or how quickly the past year has gone!
Having my own little tribute to him now, playing his 'Titles' album
Gone but certainly not forgotten and still dearly missed

Two years gone.

We miss you, Mick.

"Sons of Pioneers" certainly explains his musical approach to making that bass sing AND pulse the rhythm at the same time. Remembering Mick...

Don't forget the great tribute track Bill recorded for Mick Karn, "Soluna Oriana".

Believe it's still on Soundcloud.

Yeah, this is the date that we lost Mick back in 2011.

Dang.

The man who performed the most jaw dropping bass playing I have ever witnessed live back in '82 on the Tin Drum tour.

Sadly missed and a truly great and innovative talent.
