Anyone heard any news on the My Secret Studio reissue? Of all the rare Bill Nelson CD's that I've paid exorbitant amounts for I've never found Juke Box for Jet Boy, so I've just resigned myself to waiting on the inevitable Esoteric reissue. I can't imagine they will release two boxes close to each other though, and at least I have have 3/4's of My Secret Studio, while I don't own any of Noise Candy, save the handful of tracks on the retrospective box from a few years ago.

I was listening to My Secret Studio and Demonstrations Of Affection over the weekend and thinking how these will really benefit from new mastering. Hopefully the complete sets will sound as great as the selections used on 'Practice Of Everyday Life'.

Any news on what's planned next for the Esoteric releases?

According to Vikki Powell's message from May 20th, after an enquiry regarding
any Cocteau releases in the forseeable future?

Q: Any FURTHER ESOTERIC/COCTEAU Bill Nelson releases scheduled for 2015/2016?

That means we need to get people to buy, buy, buy!

Create a run on the Cherry Red re-releases already out there.

All you newer Nelsonians: get busy.

I Have alate played this double album A-Z Several times and like all of Bill's landmark albums have definitely passed the test of time WITH FLYING COLOURS

could wax lyrical on this title

Stand out tracks for me

All of the Ecclesia Gnostica ep
also

A Bird Of Air Shall Carry Thy Voice

THE WHOLE ALBUM IS A TRIUMPH...

Bill can you remind us all, what THE LICENSING DEAL was regarding the Cocteau back catalogue to Esoteric?

My Secret Studio
Demonstrations of Affection
Confessions of A Hyperdreamer

Well, all of them, but if the above could be pushed to the front of the release queue that would make me happy :D

Personally I'd say Chameleon, Map of Dreams and Chance Encounters are the choicest titles among what's yet to appear.......

I'm more likely though to buy Sounding the Ritual Echo, Das Kabinett and La Belle la Bete providing they are housed in artwork based on their original releases form 1981-82.

I sold off my original vinyls of all three items sometime ago ('cos by then I had them on CD) but somehow I miss those original sleeves.......

I'm probably repeating myself here, but pretty much any Esoteric/Cherry Red titles are extremely well done IMO. I believe they may have even been the parent company for the Hawkwind reissues a few years back. Great stuff. I had/have some of the Nelson titles Esoteric/Cherry Red has reissued in original form... and maybe I'm dreaming but the reissues sound better. Plus almost always the inserts are better, more info, better quality printing etc. Highly recommended.
