I always have to play this one twice. Truly magnificent. As is Gleaming Without Lights itself.

On the "tomorrow" theme, I'm quite hooked on City Of Tomorrow, which is the first track on Dynamos and Tremolos .

In listening to the lead melody this time I swear I can hear it singing lyrics as if through some extreme voicebox, some robot, like the robot on the cover, singing lyrics .

In actual fact, I could only hear the title being sung by the robot's talk-box voice, Quinault, only the title . The rest of "lyrics" were indecipherable . :)

The happens to me sometimes when i first hear instrumentals with strong melodic content [and strong titles], sometimes i hear the title being "sung" by the melody .

SOUTHPORT [track #4 from THE YEARS] .

Really seeps into the old memory banks and influences .

Sometimes I forget how much greatness this release is .

Haven't heard this track -- nor the album from whence it came -- in an age .

Thanks, 'Pod ! :D 8)
