Looking great on my phone, albeit a little big. My computer cannot get it yet (I cleared cache), presumably still uploading etc.

Well done all

There are still lots of issues to iron out on the mobile version, we have to make a lot of compromises for the small screen.
But the computer-based one SHOULD be there in all its glory, make sure you're not following an OLD link or bookmark...even if it looks right, there may be url text behind the scenes that takes you to the old site.

Plain old www.billnelson.com should take you straight to the new site.

Jon.

Love the new website!Looks brilliant on my iPad.
Great visuals and easy to navigate, lots to see and hear, well done all!

I am returning to the Nelsonian fold after a few years away, some of you may remember me as Logan 5!
I have been kept informed via Facebook, but not been using the forum.
Good to see so many familiar names still here.

Gavin :)

Jon, it can take a day or two for the new IP address for billnelson.com to become known to all the DNS servers around the world. These are the servers which translate addresses such as billnelson.com into the actual IP address - the four numbers - for the site. There is a hierarchy of DNS servers through which the new address must propagate. Many of us will be using a DNS server run by our own ISP, and it can take some time for updates to reach them.

Normally, one could type the actual IP address - the numbers - into the browser address bar, but in this case they are intercepted by wixsite, with a message to type in the website name, not the numbers.

https://dreamsville.wixsite.com/dreamsville should continue (assuming you haven't disabled it) to take everyone to the new site until http://www.billnelson.com does.

Apologies if this is stuff that you and John already know.

While I always liked the look of the old site, I'm really loving the new look. The new Dreamsville is easy to use, and puts Bill's music and activities to the forefront for those who may be new to the site. Everyone involved did a great job. :D
I also just listened to the samples from Songs For Ghost and am, more than ever, looking forward to the release. 8)
Keep up the good work, everyone.

Oh, and Happy Halloween.

:P Welcome back GiddyGavin,

I had the pleasure of meeting you at the pre-concert drink-up in London when Bill played at Metropolis Studios for the live DVD release recording event. You may remember that I said you looked quite a lot like Mick Karn, an observation that seemed to make you quite happy

Hope to see you post here every now and then if you have time.

Out for now,
Garden

Had a quick look through the store and noticed Luminous and Orchestra Arcana still available on cd (luminous at a special price).

Picked both up - which I wouldn't have done without wanting to see what the store looked like. :)

I'm getting booted off Dreamsville any time I've let things languish a little while.

Have to sign back in every time.

Likely because of work going on.

Hi Jon - request: will the new site allow us to "thumb"? It's a really useful way of agreeing with someone or liking their post without actually replying.
Kind regards
Chris

We are still investigating new forum possibilities, but we are hoping any new version we find will have all the the latest tools.

Jon.

Thumb!
