I was about shopping and a curious event transpired.
As I was waiting to pay, the man in front of me (very conservative type) stated, "I hope we haven't ruined everything."

I've been reading about the "plans" that humans hatch, and they seem to follow the biblical line - The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Current conservatism in reaction to the dream of the Beat/Mod/Hippie/Psychadelics.

It seems all our plans and maps to better humankind, always lead to another plan/map.
Ah, the intrepid surfers that can ride each wave!

What I've realized is that the veneer of civility is quite thin (to paraphrase M. Thatcher).
I'm reminded of the scene from Satyricon when the decent family sends their kids off with their slaves and they then commit suicide to escape the "current state" of Roman civilization.

Or...

The prediction in My Dinner with Andre that we are entering a dark age and there will be small pockets of "light" (POV)

Curious POV and response magnetism seem to have a lot to do with the manifesting reality about one.

Ah, the quiet monk, focused upon the singular matters of their calling.
