It's a very short track, Springtime Comes A Dancing, clocking in at 1:49, and it's Track #10 on Illuminated At Dusk .

Thanks, Sauropod for reminding me of this great disc .

Forgot how much I liked all the tracks on here on Dusk but Springtime Comes A Dancing with it's upbeat, African delivery is very groovy little surprise . 8)

Yeh, da whole 'ting, da whole collection o' tracks .

Great to rediscover it .

Switch On The Sky, Light Up The Stars .... and enjoy this cosmic hologram whilst you still can .

The View From Mount Palomar ... the countdown to liftoff is perfect to set you floating in a vast expanse rather than shooting through it, any vast expanse, like sky or sea or whatever else .

No Memories to Make You Sad . Who can resist this title ? Takes you to no-pain just the title alone and then the music is a gentle waterfall of relaxation .

The Vanilla Summer of Mr. Whippy
is an ice-cream daydream . Easy to get stuck in all that giant vanilla cloud . Heavy in happy .

Frankie Ukulele and the Fire in the Lake .... I'm a sucker for this . Love when Bill plays some uku, like in this and in SeƱor Mysterioso, Track 7 from Whimsy .

The enigmatic title conjures up an emotional slide show while listening .

Art Is My Aeroplane . Forgot about this bit of languid and abstract Jazz wanderings and then the strident toy marching band part . :)

Cinematic listening at its finest, these tracks .

Illuminated At Dusk has to be a favorite. Every moment of the music. The whole album holds quite at dusky atmosphere. I can image listening to it at night gazing at the sky. Think of space travel and magic. Springtime Comes a Dancing is up there with Tiny Mice are Dancing in The Cottage Of Her Dreams for brightening up your day.

Me too. Totally. Beautiful, sublime melody.

The uninitiated need to check out the samples on the album's home page on Bill's website here.
