Don't know if I've flagged these guitars up in Dreamsville before, (I may well have done,) but these instruments' design and sound seems to be inspired by the old original guitars that Paul Bigsby built way back in the late '40s, early '50s and were played by Merle Travis, amongst others.

They nail that classic Merle Travis, Chet Atkins and Joe Maphis sound and they look absolutely beautiful. Hand made by T.K. SMITH in the USA, everything is handcrafted by the man himself. VERY expensive though, (even the cheapest model is around $5000 dollars,) but what wonderfully crafted guitars.
One for the aficionados like myself!

Awwwww yes, such a wonderful, crisp sound with a stunning yet beautiful look. Thanks for sharing this one Bill.

Have a look at this weird and wonderful thing:

Looks like the kind of item you'd find in some emporium in a back street that you'd swear wasn't there yesterday and has mysteriously vanished when you go back the following day!

Very interesting, quirky, surreal and built with great workmanship. Typical of Michael Spalt's creativity and attention to detail. (And obviously appeals to my own arty sensibilities.)

I've admired Michael's guitars from afar for a while now, but at almost £11,000, it's sadly only a guitar for well-heeled execs who collect instruments as art pieces. :(

I think I would really enjoy this, but, sadly, Dreamsville is so distant from Gainesville, and I'm afraid my interdimensional travelator won't me to take me there... :(

They both have "ville" in their names.
