Wakefield - £4.4 million: To bring together major and cultural organisations including

Yorkshire Sculpture Park and The Hepworth Wakefield,

and turn Wakefield into an internationally renowned location promoting the UK's world-class creative industries.

Yes, I recognise there's a risk that we might have another tribute band conversation quite so soon, but it would be nice if '"Wakefield's biggest" venue had a bit less than 80% of its forthcoming gigs being performed by people pretending to be other, more creative people!

Yes the 'Sunburst Deluxe' Experience
honestly say for me personally definitely 100% NOT
I Can remember feeling physically sick last time i saw them in Leeds it got more ridiculous and embarrasing the further the
night went on...
that is because i remember the original Be Bop Deluxe Magic on several occasions
A Be Bop Deluxe tribute act is thumbs down to my sensibilites
I Don't have any time to spare for this outfit

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Les Paul have a standing gig - I want to say either weekly or monthly at a nightclub in NYC, basically until he died? Bill could do something like that quarterly or so. The real deal. One guy, a guitar and a whole lot of gizmos. You could think of it as busking!

But I got to think that if you want to showcase the best of, you have the best put into the mix somehow. He could have an art show as well. Emiko could do the flower arraignments.

Bill needs to be in front of an audience. Not a bunch of posers that maybe sent money to EMI, who in turns fails to pay Bill for anything. Just sayin'.

Yes, I think it was the Iridium Nightclub in NYC where Les Paul played regularly.

I'm not sure but I think Puzzleoyster was referring to an earlier gig in his comment, but didn't attend this latest one. Anyway, you all know my feelings about tribute bands.
