Does this men no more stress waiting for when the new release is available.
We can simply place a pre order for every up and coming new release?
Although the system has yet to be put into practice (for Bill's releases that is) - once the 'glass master' CD has been completed, theoretically we can put album samples and artwork onto Dreamsville for people to get a
feel for the album and Burning Shed can take pre-orders for maybe three weeks or so.
Once the pre-order deadline has been reached, Burning Shed will know the
MINIMUM number of discs required...I would imagine they would round it up a little to add a few copies to stock for any late-comers.
So hopefully, this will ensure all those who want a physical copy of an album will get one - it should also help keep the eBay prices down.
Bill is also keen to carry on including digital versions on Bandcamp (at some stage), for those who prefer the digital version.
There will still be some people that aren't happy though!
