The titles you mention were some of the 'rarities' that were found down the backs of the SOS sofa...they were being sold at a premium price as mentioned in Paul's announcement post. The price will have changed once you registered as it will have deducted the VAT that you would have had to pay if you were ordering from the UK.
As for the page disappearing - it's still there, but the two titles you mention are now showing 'Out Of Stock' - so I presume that's why they have disappeared - the main page should still be there!

Hope that explains things...future CDs should all be at the regular prices...

…...may well appear pricey against other CDs available, but compared to the silly prices that these out of print CDs go for on ebay, they're being offered at a very reasonable price from an official outlet....I suppose it's all relative but I reckon that's very fair pricing for unavailable and highly coveted items..... :D

"What’s more, the Burning Shed store has a pre-order facility so estimating the number of CDs to press for future releases will help to ensure all fans get a chance to buy"

Does this men no more stress waiting for when the new release is available.
We can simply place a pre order for every up and coming new release?

Although the system has yet to be put into practice (for Bill's releases that is) - once the 'glass master' CD has been completed, theoretically we can put album samples and artwork onto Dreamsville for people to get a feel for the album and Burning Shed can take pre-orders for maybe three weeks or so.
Once the pre-order deadline has been reached, Burning Shed will know the MINIMUM number of discs required...I would imagine they would round it up a little to add a few copies to stock for any late-comers.
So hopefully, this will ensure all those who want a physical copy of an album will get one - it should also help keep the eBay prices down.
Bill is also keen to carry on including digital versions on Bandcamp (at some stage), for those who prefer the digital version.

There will still be some people that aren't happy though!

Does the Burning Shed have any other Bill Nelson CD's at hand? It seems I was fortunate to purchase the last copy of the, The Years, CD. I'm still looking for a Electric Atlas CD. Maybe the Burning Shed has one?

Thanx for the reply Jon
That's great news for all us old gits who prefer the physical over the digital.

Surely everyone will be happy with that news :D

Don't remember if I have purchased from Burning Shed prior. So I went, created a new account and will wait until new product is available. I had the double check the library to see if anything being offered for sale was missing or not. I also looked at the other artists offerings. This is exciting. I also want to acknowledge the wonderful job performed by SOS all these years. :D

It's nice that Bill Nelson & Shriekback are now both residents of Burning Shed.
