Ahhh! Thankyou Mr Caretaker sir for giving me back my avatar, I promise not to kick it into the Dreamville garden again, at least not at my original size

Ah… Tied up with horrific project deadlines today. The phone never stopped ringing.

You think a guy could get some avatar work done!

Anyway, I tried again, this time with the URL upload, and it's working just great.

Smoke 'em if you got 'em…

Glad you are back in top "form," Doc! I might just have to figure out if I can have an avatar again....

Technical gremlins dispelled - avatar upload is now working (as evidenced by the miraculous appearance of cigar box pictures etc in the lefthand column.

Enjoy.

Worked a charm for me, Mac and all. I'm just happy to finally have one. Note: Please be nice to my avatar, I just made him so he's still a bit shy*.

* I made my original avatar and a few others but not all by any means.

astrophobia, you got theeself a cool av. So nice to be able to do a bit of personalising, was beginning to feel a bit nekkid. Thanks guys for sorting out the gremlins, very much appreciated 8)

Cheers John J, nice of you to mention it. I'm so chuffed to have one now, I've gotten up in the middle of the night just to check in on the forum and see it again! Thank you oh, great Forum Master for the changes. The Dreamsville Inn only keeps getting better and better.

I'd probably stop reading threads if I was confronted by Johnny Jazz's ever-flickering avatar - as it quickly becomes annoying (to me) but then, perhaps I'm just an old moaner?

It changes soooo quickly - dont forget, the speed of internet connection affects the playback speed.
