Dear dear dear ... what would old Ginsberg think of all this censorship ? He would think it was 'cock and endless balls' I expect; but then again he was so unintelligent.

Omphalos,
Since you're new in town I would like to clarify how this all started. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Someone made a post which was meant as a joke. No "foul" language was used as I recall, but someone else took the joke very seriously and when they posted their response, (which in my opinion was a little overboard), others began attacking that person on a very personal level. As the days went on it became a free-for-all with people saying extremely mean and insensitive things to one another. The whole issue began to take over the forum and I personally found it very tedious to read. We should be here to discuss Bill Nelson music and events, and other interests as well, but not to sling insults at one another.

I too am against censorship, but this is Bill Nelson's site and we should respect that. Others who may not be familiar with Bill and his music may be turned off by reading such posts. If someone wants to shout out insults and get into a fight, they can go to a real pub.

This is, after all, Dreamsville, not the OK Corral.

Apparently what happened was someone posted something which was clearly a jest and at least 2 people who are obviously a sandwich short of a picnic with no sense of humour whatsoever took great offence to it and started throwing abuse at the original poster. The original poster did not use abuse or use any foul language in their post but was subjected to abuse from these people who didn't get the joke at all. I have come to the conclusion that these people were probably related to Adolf Hitler.

hey Hey- just read the message moving capabilities post-I admit I'm not too familiar with the internet- is it possible to have you please post this, but appropriately located- I wish to know if BN music can be purchased with PayPal directly- I live in TX with no credit cards- but I very definitely have the need to beef up my BN collection- are there ways to pay with an e-check at the Dreamsville website- for international purchases?

PC brigade. That's offensive, isn't it?

I'm appalled!

Censorship?

A Bill Nelson forum is the last place I'd expect to find it.

It's spreading like wildfire on the forum, the PC brigade are everywhere on this forum which is a real shame. They are the death of creativity & free speech.

OK, a little experiment here. You all seem to be complaining about the censorship on this forum, so can everybody who has ever had their comments/posts censored please leave your name below...

Jon.

Take care of this problem by going to: http://tinyurl.com/

Self-explanatory & easy to use.
