One of Bill's posts was removed.... at his request if I remember correctly! But let's not dig up that old chestnut .
With freedom of speech comes rules or you cannot have a debate. Try walking into a pub , listening to strangers having a conversation and then telling one of them that they are talking rubbish and slagging them off , you are likely to get a smack in the mouth. The internet is conversations between strangers so why just throw in an abusive post - what does it achieve: it only serves to make the majority of members stop posting.
Of course it is possible to upset someone on almost any subject - the other day I heard someone say that the Fawlty Towers episode with the deaf woman was insulting to deaf people, and this was broadcast on a radio 4 show about the treatment of disability in humour.

A good forum does tend to have an edgy element though at times, don't you think?
I mean, if voices are
never raised (so to speak) then you end up sharing your virtual space with people who only like mild cheddar.
I don't know the history of this forum, but I would make an assumption that most people who appreciate Bill's music are open minded and intelligent. Okay, you may get the occassional person who also thinks Paul Weller is acceptable, but that can't be helped.
