It was there for the taking..Brilliant Trippier goal, momentum really with England in the first half and Croatia looked a shambles in defence, you could see the fear..if Kane had managed to convert that glaring chance to put England two up, the story would probably have had a different ending..but, that's all ifs and buts.

Fact is, we all had a great ride for three weeks, with a team that came a lot further and achieved much more than most people would have thought at the beginning of the tournament..and a huge credit to Gareth Southgate. Thanks to him, we have an exciting young team that have restored the pride in English football.
