What happened to the photo of the day thread? I thought there was a picture post where we could look at interesting photographs while we drank our morning tea?

Insert your own joke about: evil dead, zombie walkers, vampire empire, muggles or anything quaint and cute.

memorializing terrorism on usa soil stirs mixed feelings and emotions in all of us to the point of numb.

what, do we amerikans think we're untouchable? no. the soverignty and governance of this great country has been sorely misappropriated over the past decades... we're inherent to malaise before we can rise above and become the GREAT country for which we once we strived; however, it behooves me to think, has this been a trump? we now have a leader who wants to equalize USA to all commonalities as "one of the greatest countries"...

has anyone noticed? does anyone care?

i appreciate the casual and humiliating nature of this photo as a human being, lost in the vastness of the masses, civil duty "out of check" also humbled, and honor to a first responder, a fire-fighter on a mission to save lives.

is this kind of pain more beautiful than to not experience it... (please insert a shakespearean quote as necessary)

gratitude and appreciation to those who have lost their lives in the efforts of saving lives...

let's all hope we do not have a calendar filled with so many days of memorializing to the point of debilitation.

barkeep, pour me an absynthe... and make it a double. HOUSE for everyone... it's on me. whether i deserve it or not.
