Sophistry: a style of argumentation that is both confusing and intentionally deceptive; specious and fallacious. Ad hominem is a sophism.

The Greeks again... batting infinity these Greeks... I stopped learning things after Greek history... I'll learn again when humanity does...

armada (n.)
"fleet of warships," 1530s (armado), from Spanish armada "an armed force," from Medieval Latin armata (see army). Current form of the word is from 1590s. The fleet sent by Philip II of Spain against England in 1588 was being called the Spanish Armada by 1613, the Invincible Armada by 1632.

Zemblanity: bad luck occurring exactly as expected; the opposite of serendipity.

murmuration

a flock of starlings.

As they fly, the starlings in a murmuration seem to be connected together. They twist and turn and change direction at a moment's notice.

The aerial ballet the birds perform while flocking is mesmerizing to watch.

A word which sounds perfect for the spectacle unfolding..I would love to see one in real life.. 8)

Kissenkuhlelabsal - (German) literally 'pillow chill refreshment'. ie the cold side of the pillow.

Something I have always cherished.

Vitriolage: the act of purposely splashing someone with acid; with malicious intent.

Something we've seen mentioned in the news alot lately.
