It's bad of me, I know, but I've come to really love storm coverage .
It's like Impressionist paintings sometimes .
Several times I've been struck by the beauty of it .
Watching a line of deer silhouettes bobbing up and down through what once was a rural road, crazy light displays, splotches of green and grey, angry white ocean and skies .... female field reporter letting her hair blow I'm sure to add to the drama ... the way relentless water flowing down on the camera lens causes everything to ripple ... it's lovely .
It's truly awful what happens and I don't remember Hurricane Season being quite like this prior to a few years ago .

and then there are those [unrelated] ridiculous gas-line explosions
For USA people especially a power cut is akin to balancing on the lip of The Void and gazing in .
