OMG! Went to see him last night in Glasgow. Wow! Blew my tiny mind. Was mesmerising and had tears in my eyes! The crowd went wild and the orchestra\band were amazing. He jerked about like a man possessed, and they played for 2.5 hours! Last night in UK, but they are now touring rest of the world. Catch him if you can. A cross between Mad Max and Metallica! :P 8)

Missed him when the it swung through town recently but I reckon I've seen him more than any other big-name performer .

Like the return to costumes and the return to white . 8)

Similar to a toddler's one-piece in this clip https://tinyurl.com/y7ybrbq8 . I miss the ones I used to have . Do they make them for adults besides for him, i mean ?

The new promo videos are pretty cool as well .

Am I right about it looking like a toddler's one-piece in that clip ?

I remember Peter Gabriel in one of those early '80s tours [Security?] had on something similar, just as nice, which I thought at the time might've been based on a friar's outfit but it was more like what Gary's working .

Both what Peter wore in the early '80s shows, whatever year that was, and what Gary's wearing in this current tour also remind me a little of the Sand People in "Star Wars" .

In the early '80s I was looking for a PG / GN connection because I figured no one could top them, performance-wise especially and then I read somewhere not long ago Gary saying that one of his fave PG tracks was "I Don't Remember" .... so my early '80s self is grateful to have found that .

Hmm ... did not actually notice the arse at all in that clip but I think he looks cool and it’s a terrific change from the black t-shirt . 8)

It reminds me a little of the “Berserker” era, which was during the time when he was only touring Britain and nowhere else .

It traveled to both Edinburgh and Glasgow .

Didn’t travel over to see that tour, November - December 1984, but a friend of mine did .

Did you catch any of the shows on the Berserker tour, Carole ?

Sorry, no, Alec. However, did see Replicas tour in 1979 at Glasgow Apollo, and also the Telekon tour at the Apollo too in around 1981. Followed his career since, but didn't see him live again until last week = wow! Always was fab live...………………. 8)

Thought you saw the tour you got a DVD from at the merch table .

Maybe it it was three tours I caught in the early ‘80s — Pleasure Principle, Telekon, I, Assassin (which I know was strictly a US tour) — but after that it wasn’t until the late ‘90s when he brought tours over here to the US again .

For 16 or 17 years, I don’t think he played live outside of England, Scotland and Wales .

Would’ve liked the Berserker tour .

Somehow professional camerawork and slick editing of big shows like that never quite works for me and I can’t pinpoint why . No one’s fault but my own . I like any/all of the television appearances though .
