Neat .

Was just starting to read in Cries and Whispers: 1983 - 1991 by Anthony Reynolds about the making of GTE .

I've been listening to quite a lot of David Sylvian recently (a mix of David Sylvian, Bill Nelson and David Bowie almost exclusively for a couple of months) and 'Gone To Earth' over the last two or three days or so..I've been particularly absorbed with the totally instrumental CD 2 of GTE, no doubt suiting my current frame of mind/mood. I find it wonderfully soothing, music as if artistic sketches, watercolours that diffuse and bleed...contemplative enjoyment of quiet landscapes, to paraphrase someone or other.

Wonderful musicians, again, on this recording and Bill's playing and writing contributions are amongst highlights for me....It's a great album.
