Lyrics contest: Hope I die before I get old

Okay, let's see if we can shake things up a bit.

Many of our favorite bands/individuals are getting older, but still performing. But should they rework their lyrics to reflect where they are now, rather than where they were back then?

Think about some of those classic songs, and reimagine them with "updated lyrics" that reflect their more senior status.

To make it fair, try to keep the songs selected to those prior to about 1990. After all, the groups that came after aren't really that old now, are they?

See what you can come up with.
