David Gilmour's iconic Black Strat is coming up for sale in June 2019 at Christies in New York, in a sale of 120(!) of his guitars. With an estimate of $100,000-$150,000 I don't think it will be coming my way!

Is this an indication that he is finally hanging up his plectrum?
