Just finished watching this:

Season 6 was possibly the most riveting and compelling TV I have seen in years. I ended up watching all ten episodes over a couple of weekends.

An absolute blinder and total cracker of a season. Captivating and satisfying.

The books are finished now. I'm not going to bother reading any more of them as the drama in season 7 surpassed the books......... in spades.

Wife & I are still trying to take in Stranger Things.

Enjoying the heck out of it, but only 4 shows in.

Because of the elder-care giving, we can't watch a single episode in one go. Usually two nights. Very frustrating. The a few nights – if not a week – until we get back to it.

I ended up watching GoT season 6 in binge-mode as the missus doesn't like anything that has much violence so I watch it when she is at work.

Now about all the sex and nudity!?!?!?!?!

Stranger Things has got me interested considering what you and others have posted about it.

It's back:

My God what a brutal and disturbing first episode

Every season they just crank this up another notch, we are way past 11 now.

As big a fan of Game Of Thrones as I am, I am afraid that The Walking Dead pips it to the post of greatest TV show ever for me (sorry MG). If you take the brutality of the Red Wedding and push that past 11 THAT is what the Walking Dead is, and before you all say "I don't like zombies", this show is not about the zombies, it is about the people, how they survive after the apocalypse, what happens to civilisation, what takes it's place, and unlike Jon Snow, there is no magic, dead is dead in this one and they are not afraid to kill off major characters whom we have grown to love.

I have never watched anything else where I cared for and about the characters so much, we have in the first episode now lost two major characters, one who has been there from the beginning in a most brutal way, Rick Grimes has now been brought to his knees, all his best men/advisors either dead or captured, this is riveting and compulsive viewing and who knows where it will end, Kirkman is still writing the comics.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but 'The Night Of' is well worth watching. John Torturro is brilliant in it as usual.

Also, Narcos is excellent.

I gave up on Arrow a long time ago, Supergirl never even started watching and I am just not sure about Flash, think I'm ready to give up on that too. By the way Jim. I think there's a second season of Legends of Tomorrow starting soon too though I don't think I'll be tuning into that either.

Get Netflix man, tune in to Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, totally awesome, and Iron Fist coming next year plus the start of working into The defenders, all the above said heroes under one roof, awesome :D :D and you just have to see Jon Benathall as the Punisher, brilliant

The Flash is the next thing on my list after I get through the second (and final) season of Agent Carter.
