Good to see Russell is still soooooooooooooooooo energetic!!!! I watched 'This Town..............' in it's original format 2, it was 1974, so I was bang on TEN! Wow - good taste even then! 8) :lol:

I wish I still had the single 'No1 song in heaven' it had an extended version on the b-side which was fantabulously whooshy and zingy!!!

I remember the 12" versions of Beat The Clock and No1 Song In Heaven having an extra bit done by Peter Cook talking about "going to Disco's for a purpose or a Porpoise" and Man being unlucky because not a lot of Porpoises go to Discos

I've seen them do that version live a couple of times within the last few years. Ron in Klaus Schulze mode. :lol: I just tuned into the live stream. "I Bought The Mississippi River" .... what memories. I remember seeing this album performed at the Magic Mountain amusement park when they were in the movie, Rollercoaster. The wonders of the internet ... amazing.

Yes, that clip was awesome. I'd heard of The Sparks but wasn't familiar with any of their music. I'll have to check more of their work.
