You will be busy for quite some time, Yoni. Then, the rest will be spent kicking yourself for not doing it sooner. :)

have just bought their new album ' Exotic creatures of
the deep ' and it is fantastic . Loved seeing them on the
Culture Show recently and wished I could have been
at one of their ' album a night ' gigs .

A little over a month ago I picked up Profile: The Ultimate Sparks Collection. Sparks are a bit of an acquired taste (for me at least) with all the falsetto vocals and busy arrangments, but now I'm hooked. The music is insanely catchy. All of the songs are great with my favorite being "At Home, At Work, At Play". Here is the track listing:
1. Wonder Girl
2. (No More) Mr. Nice Guys
3. Girl From Germany
4. I Like Girls
5. This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both Of Us
6. Barbecutie
7. Amateur Hour
8. Talent Is An Asset
9. Lost And Found
10. Hasta Manana, Monsieur
11. Propaganda
12. At Home, At Work, At Play
13. Something For The Girl With Everything
14. Never Turn Your Back On Mother Earth
15. Achoo
16. Get In The Swing
17. Looks, Looks, Looks
18. Happy Hunting Ground
19. Big Boy
20. Nothing To Do
21. Over The Summer
22. A Big Surprise
Disc: 2
1. Beat The Clock
2. The Number One Song In Heaven
3. Tryouts For The Human Race
4. When I'm With You
5. Funny Face
6. Tips For Teens
7. Upstairs
8. Angst In My Pants
9. Sextown U.S.A.
10. I Predict
11. Moustache
12. Modesty Plays
13. Cool Places
14. All You Ever Think About Is Sex (Single Mix)
15. With All My Might
16. Change
17. Music That You Can Dance To
18. So Important

I also purchased their 2006 album Hello Young Lover (which is excellent) and have Exotic Creatures of the Deep on order.

the propaganda/at home at work at play is also my favorite...that set has a great book with fantastic and insightful comments on each track...

I've always thought that that pair of songs was kind of like
"the band who could be Queen"

The fact that Rundgren kind of took them under his wing is what originally attracted me to them...sounds like his lead guitar on No More Mr. Nice Guys and but I've never been able to confirm (or deny) this.

To publicies their new album they're doing a 21 night run in London. The new album is their 21st and each night they doing a different album (plus any related single B sides) starting with their 1st album on night one and finishing on night 21 with their new one. Must have been quite a mission rehearsing about 250 songs.

Just stumbled upon an interesting account of these shows by one of the band's drummers:
