I have come to realize that British folk rock music is/has been completely underrated, at least in my tiny music universe.
If anyone would like to offer any suggestions as to artists/bands in this genre that you like, please let me know.

Thanks. You are a wonderful and knowledgeable group that oozes with awesomeness.

Tracy

Steeleye Span at the top of the list.
The Incredible String Band has loads of great Folky (Scottish)
Psychedelic stuff; not really Rock, though; more esoteric.
Jethro Tull

Fairport Convention and the brilliant Richard (& Linda) Thompson.

Some of the Strawbs stuff is pretty folkie.

Also, my personal fave: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1D03bnQP9I

Well I would say that Leige & Lief by Fairport Convention is an absolute must when talking about British Folk Rock. A timeless classic featuring Sandy Denny, Martin Carthy, Dave Mattacks, Simon Nichol, Ashley Hutchins and Richard Thompson. Folk Rock doesn’t get much better than this album...period
