Sounds fantastic Alan. I listened to the first three and they are up to your usual high standard. The guitar on "Cavalry" is quite hypnotizing. The chord sequence takes unexpected turns and resolves quite nicely. I know I will be listening to this one for a longtime.

I downloaded the songs for listening later at work. Two, "He Hath Woken" and "Pharaoh" have not had downloads enabled. Was this intentional?

Thanks Eero. Cavalry was deliberately set a the opening tune.
I didnt know that two were not downloadable. \I shall go in and change that now. Lucy (Track 2) For those who do not know was my border collie cross who was a daddies girl. Sadly put to sleep after a great life. She lives on in our hearts.

Alan.

Yes Johhny
The original working title was "Way Past 75" but I ditched it after hearing this title mentioned in a horror film !

Eero, I will have to wait to allow downloads once I'm next on the laptop. This I Pad won't let me for some reason.

Thanks for taking the time to listen guys.

Alan.

I knew "For He Hath Woken" would be one of my favorite tracks before I even started playing it! 8) Another great electronic album with a sense of drama and emotion. Pushes all the right buttons for me! :o

I think one of the things I love the most is how Alan offers up a suggestion in an album or track title; with a wink, and then paints it with electronic sounds! You get the chance to sort of explore the tracks with your imagination while not feeling that you are "re-purposing" the creators original vision. It feels like you can almost step into them, as if they were 3-D tangible things somehow!

Moreover when I listen it feels like I'm "getting it" you know. A lot of artists name their songs this or that to conjure up an image and often I feel that I cannot connect with exactly what they are seeing in their own minds. Not so here. Though that could very well be a delusion on my part! The point is, that it feels like everything is where it should go, and it creates lots of little mental narratives which I have fun imagining!

Songs about ghosts, demons, traveling through space, going mad at the casino... and just what IS buried in the ice?? :o I think its great!

I need this collection of the last few, on a two disc set for the car!! 8)

But seriously.....

You've got some real legit retro keyboard sounds going on there. Digging as always, the nod to John Carpenter 8)

Disturb The Pharaoh is ace! Has a real hypnotic quality, especially towards the end 8)

Great stuff, Alan! 8)
