If you want something with a different, stylish look, how about this (which I have just ordered):

Fernandes Ravelle X: £249

Just received my Fernandes Ravelle X yesterday. First impressions:
Surprisingly light-weight (the body is alder, but I don't know if that's the whole reason why), comfortable to hold and play with one slight issue. The fret ends have a 2 mm bevel, so if you're a bit out with your fingering on the bottom E string you could find it slides off the side of the fretboard (only happened to me once so far). The most surprising thing is how much bottom end this guitar has. The neck pick-up with the tone turned right down sounds like it's being fed through an envelope filter. Further up the tonal scale it sounds smooth and warm, so a good guitar for playing jazz or blues. The payback is that even with the treble turned right up on the bridge pick-up, your barely past mid-range tonally, so if you want to play bright, sharp punky riffs, this is not going to do the job. If you've already got a guitar for the bright stuff, this sounds
good for the full-bodied tones and with it's classy looks, £249 is a pretty smart deal. Be warned, there aren't many left.
