Seems far too quiet in this part of the forum. Are there any who pop in here to see if anything is stiring anymore? It's never been very active but lately perhaps comatose might be fair and accurate? Especially not seeing the regular posters anymore. Have we all given up this time? I cannot but take some of the blame myself as I too have been scarce to the forum for the past few years.

But specifically, is anyone still interested in hearing other member's music anymore? Can we get an idea how people feel about the overall lack of postings/interest in hearing more/or no longer have an interest? It would be good to hear as many comments as would care to express their opinions on this. So please give us a thumbs up, down, or perhaps a single- or double-digit salute as appropriate.

Cheers, fellow Nelsonians.

Are you kidding me? While as you mention, the frequency of songs being posted has gone down from the lets do 3 or more Dreamsville projects every year to what it is today, but the quality has increased. I think because not only because of the talent of the contributors, but the techniques and equipment gathered. I want to say that Alan / Stasi has upgraded his home studio multiple times. He just keeps getting better (although no Best of). Dar just had a fundraiser for electric guitar enhancements, so be very afraid :| . Brooksie is back home and is recording again. :D Eric will fly to England to take in Bill's album release show and I hope he gets with Bob to do some Electric Angels radio interviews  . Joe Wiseman has elevated his game (although no THUD Vol 2). Planet Andy has jumped on board. John Izzard is helping Brooksie as is Major Snagg. And John's stuff is brilliant!

I put together a best of Dreamsville play list in an effort for others to share what they love about this section of the inn. I even suggested art. My Q-Mix was a poppy collection. I would love to see an Electric Angels box set, as I am sure many others would as well. We have taken advantage of having an in-house poet and Carole/Oracle has contributed to many songs.

Yeah, I love hearing what folks are doing. But then you knew that.

I still pop in the see what's happening. Alan's volume of output is inspiring, I have no way to keep up with him.

I have a few projects in the works. Bob and I have a new album we are trying to wrap up, but it's been a slow process. The sound of this one is harder and more grim. Finding the right balance of songs has been tough.

I have a short Core Ten EP project in the works, including re-recording some EA songs as Electropop. I am also working on a Country Rock EP with my son under the moniker All Thumbs. (Anyone you figures out the meaning behind that name gets a gold star.)

I miss the Projects, they were inspiring, but it requires someone to take the lead and manage the process, and that can be a lot of work.

NICE! I'm late to the party so I'll have plenty to dig into...

I've just recently gotten into bandcamp with Bill's stuff and now I'm expanding my collection somewhat! 8)

Thanks EERO!

It's pretty clear who that man is as he has repeatedly encouraged musos here to take part providing his overall vision to make the projects happen. But unfortunately, he has more pressing obligations of his own now. Unless of course he might be able to be coaxed out again to... Well, just saying. Best to not go there. Just so he knows he's still the man.

EERO, thanks for responding. Glad you are still busy at it.
