Good news for those who have been creating their own music and asking If I still had some of my old The Stasi stuff available. Well quite by chance when scrolling through my Soundcloud account I came across around 15 some dating back to real old Juno Ds, Mini Korg Tascam Portastudios, and old rythym machines mostly redundant these days. So I shall be posting one or two of the coming months over at the Facebook page “Art For Arts Sake (A Window InTo Your Stuff) John Izzard was a huge help over the years with tech info and laying out, photographing and designing sleeves and I am eternally thankful as Id never have gotten off the ground in those early days so hats off John. By the way, I still cant find “Lucky Spinner” but you never know !

So I shall be posting the odd nugget over the months without drowning everyone so I will see you over there.
(Sadly I cant on to Bandcamp as they do not support MP3s....

Speak soon,

Alan.

Hi Alan,

Why not convert them from mp3 to whatever format Bandcamp wants? There are free batch converters available on download.cnet.com. You could do them all at once. Make sure you set the program to make new files and keep the originals (as opposed to automatically erasing the originals).

John

Geez Alan, you should have a 4 volume Best Of collection in the works. [Or more] I always thought that these secret police recordings were pretty good! :)
Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the tip John, much appreciated.
I must have amassed over 300 recordings now, most over at Soundcloud and Soundclick ?
You can listen to them when I shuffle off this mortal coil .....
