Ditto! As you know Geoff, probably be the same for me too! :cry: Got to be realistic as too much else on and not made of £! Last bill really stung me too = £250 for two nights for just me????? Still can't believe it but just want to put it behind me................... :(

well, we managed to get a room at the Premier Inn. although it looks like a car repair shop, all i "really" need is a mirror, and some water to splash on my mug. now, if there was only " time " to pack.. lets see, three days, that's 12 shirts, and 6 shoes, best look for the steamer trunk.... we are on our way to see you SUE, err, Bill .. :lol: :oops: :roll:

Hi Bobbyboy, You're right, the Premier Inn does look like a car repair shop because it was !
It's actually a converted 1930s art deco motor dealership. Works well as a hotel these days though and is just minutes walk from Nelsonica.

I feel kind of lucky, as I live only 45 minutes away by car. I know of a few secret free places to park in York too. My daughter went to St. John's Uni right in the city, so I know my way round it pretty well now. Looking forward to meeting up with you all again in November.

hey Thanks Sound on Sound, i will look forward to staying there and getting my "oil checked". humm, that sounds "kinky" huh? well, this place should have alot of ghosts hanging about, like the Crown!! we were on the top floor, and the "other world residents" must have been having "Cha Cha lesson's on the roof, or was that YOU SUE?? :roll: Oh honey, the key was under the mat... and i had on my best cologne!!! just you wait, no lock on the door this year!!!!! see ya soon BC* :D
