I will be going but not staying at The Park, The Premier Inn is £160 for 2 nights for 2 persons!

I know it was tried for N08 that we had a time travellers theme but why not make this a fancy dress weekend......with fab prizes for the winners? This is, after all, a BIG celebration!

Prize categories could include:-

Best BN/BBD song themed costume

Best York themed cossie

Best music themed cossie

and my personal favourite........

Best Sue's avatars representation

My partner and I are looking into making the trip "again', trying to arrange to fly out of the US on Wed. the day before Thanksgiving, [ Americas busiest flying day] and returning Monday. we LOVED Harrogate last year, and York in "06" looks like we might have to sell the family dogs to afford it.. [ cost are up due to timing] so, "here we have a "10 year old Jack Russell" [ still a bad dog BTW] and a perfect Mini Pin, [ snores like a bear though], and last up, a 130 pound Newfie, [ Miss Maggie to you] who has very good "office skills". opening bid " 1 million pounds each!! going once, twice!! thank you sir, thats 70 million pounds to the man with the strange head!!!!! lets hope there's no refunds demanded!! HOPE to see ya all there.. 8) 8)

Despite some initial and understandable grumblings about the cost I think this has got to be the best ever Nelsonica we're looking forward to.

Lets not forget that whilst it may be a lot to pay for most of us in the current economic climate, we are priviledged to be attending something that few fans of ANY other artist will ever experience !

Personally I suspect that the cost to the organising team in terms of the amount of their own time given for free and expenses which they probably don't bother claiming is ultimately greater than the one we pay, and all WE have to do is turn up on the day!

Let's have a ball.

Location: not sure but I can see a tall building from my window
just booked a twin room for two nights at City Guest House for £136 breakfast included. Good reviews.

Try:

uk.travelzoo.com
greatlatedeals.co.uk
ebookers.com

The rooms that are still available are going very quickly. They were dropping off my searches in realtime. Hope it's because of you guys.
