No, not low key...I have written about the album a while ago on the forum and mentioned how beautiful it sounds and how it stands up as a cohesive work in its own right despite being created as a 'made-to-measure' soundtrack for the documentary film 'American Stamps.' I think I also said that it would very much appeal to those fans who enjoy my keyboard and piano-based albums, (which is not to say that 'Picture Post' is not without some very nice guitar moments!)
I mastered the album some time ago and recorded the music even futher back but it has had to wait its turn in the queue of releases. I'd originally planned to release it alongside another album but releasing albums in pairs has proved uneconomical and so I've returned to a 'one-at-a-time' approach and with the option to leave longer intervals between releases. Consequently, 'Picture Post' has become the first album release of 2010 for me. And , in case the Soundcloud thing has confused anyone, 'Picture Post' IS a physical CD album, NOT a download. Soundcloud is simply being used so that you can sample a few more excerpts from the tracks than usual.
