Great job Terry, Bill and all others involved in this documentary. I saw it on my local PBS station last year, and found it really interesting. I can't wait to get the CD.

Are all the songs shorter pieces like Chameleon, or longer ones that were edited to the musical needs of the film? I never did get to see the documentary but can't wait to hear the music. The clips sound great. Thanks, boboquisp

In the main, these are shortish tracks as used in the film but some of them feature slightly' fuller' mixes. The film obviously had dialogue and narration and so the mixes used in the actual film left space for that. I chose a few more detailed mixes for the album as the album tracks need to stand alone without the spoken narrative.

Another quick delivery from SOS - well done!

I listened to the first half of "Picture Post" last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was pleased to find that plenty of the tracks are long enough to "get into". There's some great piano playing (and bass playing if you listen out for it). I particularly enjoyed "Skimming Stones".

This should definitely be a "grower".

If anyone is put off by this being a soundtrack album with 22 tracks, don't be. Buy it and enjoy it before it's gone!

Neill
