Just bought my tickets - persuaded my wife, brother and his partner to come along with the inducement of a curry before the show.

Can't wait

John

Just posted this up in a few places that we covered re the ITV Concert:

Following the success of the ITV Legends Concert, Bill Nelson performs a special solo concert at the Sensoria Arts Festival in Sheffield on Saturday May 7th.

Tickets just £10 at http://2011.sensoria.org.uk/programme/b ... eamertron/

Feel free to post something similar to any places you visited during your travels on the web.

Brilliant WC - I sense this might be an easier sell for Bill! :-)

I have a few upcoming blogs and a mini video which will carry the Sensoria and ITV DVD 'virus' soon.

Pleased to see a Nelsonian who uses Twitter - I left it a year ago and was told I would never be able to tweet from my e-mail again. They are very unforgiving! :-)

4 tickets booked :D me and Teresa will be coming, and my brother and his missus. Like me until London, our kid hasn't seen Bill since red Noise days.

And - we only live in Doncaster, so it is a stone's throw :D :D 8)

Glad to hear that so many of you are coming to Sheffield...but please note that this is not a band performance and features no songs at all, just myself playing solo instrumentals of an ambient, avant-garde or jazzy nature. An opportunity for me to indulge myself with the 'artier' side of things...
If you've not seen or heard this aspect of my music previously you may be in for a surprise! Or a shock! You may like it...or you may not, depending upon your expectations.

It will be an evening of (hopefully) beautiful, relaxed, trance-like music with some of my flickering video images to set you dreaming.

Hey Bill,

Of the albums currently available on Sound On Sound, which one most closely resembles what you will be playing at the gig?

I ask so I can buy it and console myself for not being able to attend :(
