Sounds like a neat gift! I love the 80s material a whole lot. I'm jealous I must say, but then if I had a melt down over every bit of Bill I will never hear I would be typing this from a sanitarium about now!

I have to agree on this. There is a point when one has to just surrender to the forces. I am positive there are numerous Bill-tracks in my collection that I have yet to fully explore. So... I guess I'll go sit in my bedroom and listen to the scratchy records and enjoy my decline...

well, here we are, a few days after the posting, and i find some "other" Nelsonians have found a way to express the "envy" we have, for those who can attend this "special concert".. my hand signed tin from Nelsonica 09 is a treasure for sure, and i know this new present, is eagerly awaited by the concert goers, but us poor chaps who cant attend, [ my trial starts the day after, and you cant fly in handcuffs, metal detectors bla bla bla] well i think there's a solution. could you please list the address's of those attending, what time they go to work, and return, do they have dogs?, and are there "high fences" around their homes. i have a friend who sells "safes" in the UK, and he could do with some new business. yeah yeah, i cant make the party, so NO cake, but we all LOVE cake!!

I feel almost guilty about this. The thing is, my heart has overridden my head and bugger the loss of income, I've given in and bought a ticket.
I tried so so hard to resist but it was no good, I wouldn't have been any use at work on the day anyway and my better half was getting sick of my long face and in the end ORDERED me to go.
I put up a fight but...
Sorry Bill et al, you're just going to have to put up with my presence.

Hi, Tony...I'm busy getting the musical side of things together for the event...but if you contact 'The Man In The Rexine Pjyamas' via the dedicated web-page for the October 1st concert and exhibition,
http://www.billnelson.com/html/park/boxoffice.php
I'm sure he will be able to tell you if there are any tickets still available...and he will certainly be able to accomodate you if there are!
