ALTERNATE solo in 'Crying to the Sky?'

'Teenage Archangel'.

Fantastic!

:D

Some other tracks I don't recognise.

Looking forward also to CD Eight! :)

There are a few tracks I don't recognise either. The listing at Burning Shed says "11 previously unreleased tracks" (or words to that effect).

I assume "previously unreleased" includes alternate BBD guitar solos but are there a few previously unreleased BN solo recordings in there? (Sorry if a list has been posted elsewhere but I'm incredibly lazy when it comes to going back over old threads/posts).

All in all having the BBD stuff in the set is an excellent way of foiling EMI's BBD release of Futurist Manifesto. ;)

I will definitely be ordering a copy of this set soon (if for no other reason the artwork and packaging are getting a lot of kudo's around here) and the Red Noise BBC sessions will be interesting to say the least........

And the booklet is gripping reading - the box a fantastic walk down memory lane Bob.

A great insight into the creation of Axe Victim and the alternative solo on Crying to the Sky offers a window into a number of other views of how the song may have turned out.

Also, the other tracks are an improvement on the vinyl ones that I converted to MP3, although, at present, I'm keeping the ones with the scratches as MP3's as they hold special memories of the over-use that I gave them!
