Hi Bill & Martin,

Great evening - enjoyed it immensly. Love the album - sounds better at home than it did there - as you said certain nuances come to light which weren't evident there with the acoustics of the room.

Can I just say Bill - I've met several musicians down the years and you must be the best in terms of showing appreciation to their fans, You certainly went the proverbial extra mile that night. Looking forward to the Nelsonica in September - my first - where another great day is in store I'm sure. Nice to reminisce about your old Wakefield days as an old lad from Ossett myself.

Martin - any chance of that photo you took of me and Bill you took on your camera - the one you took on mine turned out great!. I don't mind waiting till the Nelsonica - that would be fine

Unbeleivable shots Martin-I thoroughly enjoyed looking at them.
Youve caught such character. Well done--And I concur with Asterisk--We need a Bill photo in future CD releases.It brings the whole album concept to life with a picture of the artist imho.

We also took a few. As Martin notes, the light wasn't brilliant for taking snaps but hopefully these give a flavour of the venue and the event.

One of these pix just reminded me... what the hell is a 7ft bronze statue of the late great Benny Hill doing standing guard outside the gents cloakroom ? Anyone know ?

must admit we were somewhat curious on that one. Not sure it's bronze though - it felt decidedly plastic when I linked arms with him for a souvenir snap
