it seems it's a fibreglass model of a proposed bronze statue that has never been made (Google is wonderful!). Goodness knows why a Southampton lad should end up immortalised in the gents of a club in Leeds, but there you go.

These are quite wonderful and I'd like to echo the other comments about the first portrait shot of Bill, it's a beautiful photo that seems to emanate the warmth of his personality. Somehow the B&W creates an aura of timelessness and elegance, that seems perfect for the event.
