Hmmm...I'm an Apple Mac chap myself...as for televisions, I hardly have time to watch 'em, let alone pass comment on the technical pros n' cons of different models. You're a lucky man!
Even if the original is not recorded in HD subtle details are expanded and laid open to scrutiny. As for the recording it seems that running the Valves about an hour longer has a beneficial effect.
Apparently, there are those that attended Woodstock and did not heed the warnings about the brown acid.

Much as I have been catching Bill up, (at least in % age terms), I ain't that old!!! The only "brown stuff" I imbibe tends to be from Bottles.

Good 7/10 review in the new issue of Classic Rock magazine, has Iron Maiden on the cover, due in the shops later this week.

Well, I have had this cd for about two months now, have played it a lot, have picked out my personal favorites, have determined what I like, what I don't like etc. So I think now I am in a position to rate it with respect to my personal taste. I have to say that this cd fro me is one of Bill's best. I put it right up there with Modern Music, Sound on Sound, The Love That Whirls, Fancy Planets, you name it. I have ordered a number of cds this year since discovering this site, and JTA is one of the best.

I actually gave it a rest for a while. During that time I ordered Rosewood Volume 2, which I do like listening to. But this past week I reached for JTA and have started playing it again.

I hope Bill does another like this one in the near future.

G

I've been told that 'Joy Through Amplification' has been selling extremely well, (and quickly too,) which comes as a very pleasant surprise to me...It may soon be in the 'only a few copies left' category, and very soon if things continue at this pace. The general reaction from fans to this album has far surpassed my expectations.
Well, who knows, maybe I should follow this up with a continuation of the JTA theme at some point in the future...impossible to say for certain at the moment as I'm driven by the muse rather than by popular opinion...but whatever comes down that mysterious pipe from another dimension, I'm sure it'll all be good! :D
