how big is the box? Is it LP-sized, or has it been scaled down to a CD-sized clamshell box?

It's all been beautifully 'miniaturised,' down to CD size, including the box, book of photographs and postcards...

And when they do the Demonstrations Of Affection box it's gonna include a dinky 7" long T-shirt....Maybe.

Nice one. But more likely a 6” shirt. Men tend to over-exaggerate on size matters.

LOL. So many come-backs to that, none of them suitable for this forum.

Thanks for the info, Bill. Mine's on the way from Cherry Red, so I'll be digging it soon enough. I have the original LP box with book and postcards from back in the '80s, so I'm glad to hear this has been scaled down to a manageable size.

A bonanza waiting for me at the mailbox this morning - my copy of 'Trial By Intimacy' (complete with the signed card), 'Palace of Strange Voltages,' and 'Return To Tomorrow,' along with the new paperback edition of Phil Baker's Austin Osman Spare biography.

Esoteric did a beautiful job on the 'Trial' box, and I'm glad to see that typo corrected after nearly thirty years. It always bugged me.

Bill, I have to commend you on your signature. After all these years, it still doesn't disappoint - crisp, authoritative, artsy.

Can anyone give me a brief description of what to expect from this one?

In the main, it's a laid-back, minimalist style collection of instrumentals. Very simply recorded but intimate and warm...mainly keyboard/synth-based compositions with some guitar overdubs. Not jazzy but certainly 'cool,' and very pretty at times. It's in a similar sonic ballpark to 'Sounding The Ritual Echo' and 'Chance Encounters In The Garden Of Lights.' I'm very fond of this set. It definitely has its own personality and reflects where my creative imagination was at that time.

I love that it's, in the main, a laid-back, minimalist style collection of instrumentals!

At the time I took it so seriously.

It was Serious Meditation Music for me. I tried to preserve the box and book. Tried wearing special white gloves when holding the book but everything is well worn.

Re-reading your description Bill.

Like all Bill's music, what I like best about it is that it ignites the imagination.

Glad it's back!
