As you probably know, I'm a patron of the Sara's Hope Foundation Charity and have created exclusive tracks for the foundation over previous years.

Today I've just completed a new instrumental track which I will donate to the charity at this year's Nelsonica where attendees will be able to listen to a preview of it. After Nelsonica the track will be given to Sara's Hope Foundation where it will eventually be made available as a public download in return for a donation to the charity by whoever downloads it. There will be more details about this once the track has been made officially available...keep your eye on this site for further info in October.

Meanwhile, I can tell you that the track is titled 'Starland.' It began life as a backing track for this year's Nelsonica solo live performance but I've overdubbed guitars onto it and it's turned into a very nice instrumental piece with a similar vibe to 'For Stuart.' Those of you who like 'For Stuart' will definitely enjoy 'Starland' too!

Now I have to turn my attention to the 'Orchestra Futura' live set....then the band one. It's all non-stop (mystery action,) here at the moment. Feeling very pressurised!

I have just been looking on the Sarah Hope Foundation website and would like to purchase the tracks from Bill on there.

Pardon my ignorance as I usually operate with CD's, but which should I choose to download onto my I-tunes? An MP3 or Flac?

Thanks

Phil
For an ipod it would have to be the MP3 Download
FLAC Is a compressed WAV File in other words a cd track, to de compress you will need a free tool called FLAC Front End it uses the drag and drop method.
then you would need a FLAC To MP3 Converter!!

Full story here...

Thanks Puzzleoyster, much appreciated.

I thought it would be MP3 but had never heard of FLAC before which caused my confusion :)

Time to get buying!
