This does seem a bit overdue (time-wise). British mail is actually much faster than US mail these days and on average, a package can reach San Francisco in three business days. Now SF may be a favoured location in terms of international mailing, I have no idea. But three days is more than satisfactory and sets a pretty high precedence. So really to sort out where the problem lies, there would need to be tracking numbers assigned, and that may not be something SOS is willing or able to implement. Because packages with tracking numbers obviously tend to be prioritised. But I would suspect that both Lou and Doc's packages entered the US some time ago and are caught up in their local state nest of station-to-station stops. Now with Doc, unfortunately we're getting used to him having to wait. But Lou is almost close enough to have the disc thrown at his house with greater results. Sorry lads, I feel your pain.

I'm in no way complaining seriously.

I have no doubt the delay is on our end, as asterisk states.

Every time I place an order from Amazon UK or other UK based business, the arrival time seems excessively long.

The U.S. Postal System has been struggling for some time and will most likely not improve.

As long as mine arrives before Dr. Phil's, I'll be fine.

The CD arrived in Rhode Island today. I suspect many of you will have your arrivals tomorrow. Positive thoughts...

Well you're a better man than I because when I bother to order anything online, especially from Amazon, I expect it to be in my hands pronto. And I will always go with the higher, quicker delivery rate to insure that, if it is offered. I don't care if it arrives in pieces, on-fire, or the wrong damned thing. I just want it delivered promptly. Otherwise I would just buy it locally. I have sent things back only because of the wait time. I mean really, this is all these companies do, package and post. If you cannot package anything smaller than a car, with postage paid and attached within a half hour at the most, then you just aren't giving a fuck.

PS Again, this is not, nor is it ever directed at SOS.

Cheers to RJR for remaining positive.

No delivery yesterday.

Since I didn't get confirmation until 6 September, I'm sure it wasn't posted until that point or after. Loads going on at S-O-S and I know they did all they could to handle the volume of orders.

So it was only 11 days as of yesterday. Not really an excessive time.

Although they did get delivery in Kuala Lumpur…

AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!

Alas, my postman has once again failed to deliver.

Perhaps it has something to do with me not giving him his usual Christmas card last year?

I'll take the high road and try to be happy for you Wadcorp :P

aha...mine arrived in perfect time. Heading on vacation tomorrow. Was worried I'd have to wait another two weeks.

Well worth the wait too...this is clearly going to be a firm favorite. First listen through made me very happy. This album sits nicely alongside the Orchestra Arcana reissue. Listening to both albums makes you realize that although clearly Bill's music has developed over the years there is still a common thread that runs through his work.

My copy has arrived (along with Fancy Planets). Love the artwork by BN and MB (particularly the disc itself; very psychedelic).

Thank you SOS people!
