I'm pleased to announce that the long awaited three volume compilation album,'THE DREAMER'S COMPANION' is finally available as a download only offering from my Bandcamp page!

This triple disc set contains 42 diverse tracks taken from a varied selection of my 21st Century albums, some of them now out-of-print and rare.

The initial idea behind this project was for it to serve as an introduction to my post 20th Century music, a kind of sonic 'grazing box' for the curious and for fans who may have missed out on certain periods of my work.

However, when I began to choose and assemble tracks for the compilation I realised that it might have a broader appeal. It's very much a personal, artist selected, panoramic view of music which, I think, reaches out to the listener's imagination with open arms. I've spent considerable time and thought choosing and sequencing these tracks and I hope you will enjoy the way they flow through the three volumes of the set.

Each volume is now available as an individual download and all three volumes feature colourful artwork by David Graham, designed exclusively for the set. The three volumes also have individual titles. Here are the track lists for each volume:

-----------------------------------------------------------
As you can see from the above, the three volumes provide hours of constantly evolving music. I'm very pleased with the way this special set has turned out. It works both as both an introduction to my 21st Century recordings and an entity in its own right.

Yes...a very carefully selected compilation of tracks which I hope will pleasantly surprise lapsed fans and those who have more recently discovered my music. I've found it an interesting and satisfying listen too! :)

On every CD of BN there are one or two songs which made their way to my alltime favorite playlist of the tunes of BN. Just downloaded the three compilations from Bandcamp and had a quick listening. Just added "Where Are We Now?" to my playlist - and more will follow for sure.

Thank you Bill for another great release!

So many terrific songs! "Rainclouds over the Paris of My Dreams" blows me away - bought it straight away. Regret not buying Rosewoods as well. Sounds mellow, and relaxing. Glad you released them, Bill!

I've downloaded the first two volumes already. The sequences flow really nicely and they sound fantastic in lossless format. Not that the originals didn't already sound great, but is this a new mastering?

Looking forward to Volume 3 and maybe perhaps full reissues of 'Arcadian Salon', 'Wah-Wah Galaxy', 'Orpheus' etc...? Pretty please?

Cheers,

Lee

I started by purchasing Vol.3 because it contains some of my favorite songs. And I agree with you that the sequence is great. It sounds like the songs were made to follow each other. Feels like listening to newly released music 8)

A great primer for those who are either new to BN's work, to the 21st century, or to both.......... :)
