This might be handy for those lucky enough to be going on Monday. From Transport for London.
The Tour de France is coming to London on Monday 7 July. The race will start in Cambridge, travelling through Essex, north, east and central London, finishing on The Mall. Road closures, bus diversions and busier stations are expected; please plan ahead and don’t get caught out.
Roads on and around the route will be closed to traffic from 10:00 and reopen by 18:00. Tower, Southwark and Westminster Bridges will be closed for most of the day. The Congestion Charge will remain in operation. Buses will be on diversion or will stop short of their destinations from 09:00 – 18:00. A number of Barclays Cycle Hire docking stations will be suspended.
Tube and Rail will be the best way to get around and enjoy the day. Stations along the route will be busy during the evening peak.
