Hey TH 1974 - nobody should feel the ' threat of abuse' for posting their considered and well meaning thoughts on this forum.....my Dad fought in the war(cliche....I know  ) so as to enable someone such as you or me to articulate and voice our views and perceptions........although he may not have been so happy to know his and others' efforts have been so blighted, especially in more recent years....but that's another matter/discussion/ rant/full on fight with today's powers that be.

.......meanwhile I would imagine no one on this site, least of all Bill, would find the slightest offence with,as I say,a considered and reasoned opinion of any sort :D

Great picture. Question - does Bill Nelson come under "N" alphabetically within your overall CD shelving? I have a whole row (and more) now devoted to Bill's CDs and that is spanning some 5 foot or more in width, all on the top shelf - set apart from the other music!

Sad I know but I order them chronologically too (gotta be a bloke thing) - not easy to remember when I have taken a few down from the shelf to play left pondering: does "Clocks and Dials" go back before or after "Mazda Kaleidoscope" in the running order? :?

Yes, I do have Bill filed under "N", however, my organized collection is a bit disorganized currently. Actually, aside from Bill, everything else is a bit
mixed-up.

Love the album - Can't get it out of my car or my home system. As usual, with repeated listening - this bad boy only gets better - nice one, Bill!

The Bill Nelson shelf will soon become a warehouse Lou !!

I actually had to kick out some pesky brothers Gibb to make more room![/quote]

Hi Chimera Man

My collection is also in chronological era. I must add Pedalscope to my list.
Mazda Kaleidoscope goes before Clock and Dials, I think. It was 2008's Nelsonica CD :D

Apologies for messing up quotes. I'm afraid I've never got the hang of it since the forum changed format

I don't think anyone's going to hold it against you. It's just nice to see you post. Even if it's only once or twice a year nowadays.

Hi Angie, how are you ? :) I certainly know what you mean about Bill's CDs taking up a lot of space ! my own collection (probably all of his to date) is pretty large. I notice that Whimsey and Clocks & Dials are on view in this cabinet. Those two double albums along with The Dreamshire Chronicles are all favourites of mine. Well, add Pedalscope to that short list now. . . it really is a light and fun album. Very nice tunes that fit the theme well :) .
My own Bill Nelson CD collection was once in a roughly chronological order but for some reason all the double CDs are now next to each other and all the CDs I play a lot (we all have favourites I'm sure) are in a bunch too next to them. . . I've been playing Satellite Songs and Whimsey quite a bit lately, so maybe that's why I'm not 'getting into' Fantastic Guitars a the moment . . . I'm in song mode it seems.

Questions about the correct chronological order of Bill's CDs would be a pretty difficult subject as someone's specialised subject on the BBC TV Mastermind programme.
Ok, your starter for 10 . . . what year was Practically Wired released ?. :?

Received Fantastic Guitars but not Pedalscope yet... despite ordering Pedalscope weeks before. Anyone else yet to receive theirs?

Hi csp1102 and welcome back to the forum!! As 'Pedalscope' is no longer available a quick message to the good people at SOS might be in order, one of my Cd's once went astray but is was quickly resolved but your order has a bit further to travel I see :)

It will be worth the wait
