As those of you who bought the 'Loom' album know, the title track was missing from the album and a track from the 'Quiet Bells' album was used in its place by mistake. To remedy this, we've arranged for a completely free download for fans who bought the album, (and indeed, even for those who didn't,) of the missing track. So here is 'Loom,' which should have been track 18 on the original CD. Free for everyone and anyone to listen to and download. :)

Here's the relevant link:

Many thanks Bill! Thought there was something familiar about that track!

Luckily, the track from 'Quiet Bells' wasn't too far away from the style of the 'Loom' album so doesn't feel too out of place. Mind you, if it had been a vocal track or a rock instrumental the error might have been more obvious at the start!

Ha Ha. Roses and Rocketships (from Practically Wired) would have been a real fun substitute!

Seasons Greetings Bill. As a diligent buyer of all your releases (still waiting for Loom to arrive here in Canada though) I am happy that you made this available as a download. I certainly sympathize with you on the costly repress of a 500 cd run. I'm somewhat perplexed though why you wouldn't have made the download available at least in the same resolution as the rest of the music on the cd instead of a lower resolution mp3. Yes, unfortunately I'm an audiophile and hate the sound of mp3's. Give me uncompressed 24/96 files anyday :D .

The missing track, available from Bill's Bandcamp page is available in a multitude of formats including FLAC.
You need to select which format you would prefer.

Jon.

Many Thanks Jon. Figured it out. Didn't notice the small arrow to click for the drop down menu.
Once Again thanks to Bill and wishing everyone a Happy New Year. Can't wait for Loom cd to arrive.

Just gone to download the 'missing track'. It's only available in MP3! I use FLAC. Can it be made avaiable in FLAC as I have copied the rest of the CD to my server in FLAC?

Further to my previous post I have tried to play the 'missing track'. No joy. As the rest of the CD has been copied in FLAC format my server's software sees the MP3 track as a different type and will not attach it at the end of the other tracks. I can only play it as a seperate track. Awkward!

Try downloading it again. Once you're at the page where you initiate the download, try selecting the drop-down button next to where it says "format":

Look for where it says "vinyl".

Thank you 'wadcorp'. I will try again. I couldn't see the options.

I don't understand wondertoy's reply if it was aimed at me?
