Due to the technical problems quite a few people have experienced with downloading this wonderful piece of music the Foundation have decided to find an alternative host for the Six Strings For Sara download. Thanks to a contact made through good freind Paul Gilby from SOS the track can be dowloaded from the following links
direct link to the EP @
http://www.musiczeit.com/directory.php? ... ill+Nelson

or to label page @

Ian Boddy (a prolific artist in the music world see http://www.myspace.com/dinuk) from musiczeit has been excellent and has currently made Bill Nelson and Six Strings for Sara the featured track .
The track can be downloaded in two formats

Thanks Ged,

Flac format as well - excellent :D - I found musiczeit to be a very quick and easy to use download service.

For anyone unfamiliar with Flac, a Flac file is a 'lossless' compression (in size) of the original music file, e.g. .wav, which can be uncompressed back to the original file without loss in sound quality - unlike 'lossy' mp3. A Flac file can be played directly in media players that have an appropriate plug-in e.g. WinAmp. To convert back from .flac to .wav (or vice versa) then you'll need something like the 'flac front end' tool which can be found here http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html - See musiczeit FAQ

Typical process: Original .wav track > supplier compresses to .flac > customer downloads .flac file > uncompresses to .wav > burns to CD - resulting in a CD track being the same quality as the original :D

Just downloaded it. Sounds lovely. My i-tunes seems to think it's called Winter Comes Around Again by Globe, :? but it's very definitely Bill. 8)

I just made a contribution and experienced the same thing as above. When downloaded to my Mac desktop, the file had a .asp extension, which called up the Apple System Profiler when I clicked on it. I changed the extension to .mp3 and it was now playable with iTunes.
